Sustaining the Work

We are using a three-funding river strategy in order to ensure that our work is properly sustained. Private funding is our primary funding stream as we rely on the generosity of those who believe in what we are doing and desire to participate in kingdom ministry in a meaningful way. We fully expect to exceed the highest bar of our private funding goals over the course of the first five years of operating in our international headquarters location.
Our second funding stream is leveraging corporate partnerships to underwrite many of our marketplace ministry activities. We understand that our presence and activity is good for industry and tourism which are major considerations for the City of Orlando. Our headquarters location places us strategically in key areas for emerging industry in the city. Our activity helps to increase the number of available workers and our initial work addresses social issues which have a diminishing effect on the overall impact of the tourism industry.
Governmental grants and partnerships represent KFGCDC’s third funding stream. KFGCDC’s marketplace ministry aids in alleviating governmental budgets already overly stretched to position a response to these complex social crises. These governmental partnerships include areas of criminal justice; education; healthcare, including mental health; services to homeless populations; and workforce development. Our plan for sustaining the work includes both financial and in-kind resources flowing into KFGCDC from these three funding streams
