Our intention in identifying the Historic Parramore community, in Orlando FL to situate our international headquarters of Kingdom First Ministries bears a strong difference from how gentrification is occurring in urban areas across the United States.

First, the notion of situating ourselves in this particular community is driven by its current residents. We are coming to bring resources that will benefit the residents and communities of the City of Orlando.

Secondly, our approach to transforming the character of the community is different than those who are outside investors seeking to strike huge profits by purchasing land at low cost. KFGCDC is coming with a commitment to continue to strengthen the community by creating an opportunity zone for current residents to participate in improving their own community.

If efforts of community revitalization are not driven by those with a heart for its current residents, it will result in land being improved while people and their social problems are transferred to another community. We believe in the historic relationship that many of those living in this community have and desire for future generations to share in many of the same memories.
